The program analyses both direct and indirect taxes with a focus on the latest international aspects of tax systems.

The lecture start off on the latest aspect of what OECD’s BEPS Actions plan and the implications affecting your client’s daily operation and future tax planning for expansion.

Further, it be focusing the most  debatable E commerce taxation industry , what are the latest tax structures being exposed and how likely it will impact the coming future for E commerce. Which jurisdiction is more suitable for the industry?

After the break, the lecture will move on to Free Trade Agreement , how is impact on tax planning? Specific example on Australia and China FTA will be discuss with other practical case study.

Lastly, it also have an individual international tax planning portion as Asia has the fastest growth rate for High Net Worth individual (HNWI). There be tax solutions or structure that assist your client’s on  tax minimization and assets  protection sum.

Course Instructor : Experienced instructors will conduct this course with extensive experience in the field of international taxation:

Bart Kosters is a Senior Principal Research Associate in IBFD’s Tax Services Department. Until January 2010, he was in charge of the IBFD Topicals Knowledge Group and until August 2005 he was the Head of the IBFD Asia-Pacific Research Team. After obtaining his master’s degree in Law from the State University of Leiden in 1988, Mr Kosters started working in the Dutch tax administration where he successfully completed the postgraduate programme for tax inspectors. From 1992 to 2001, he was a senior staff member at the Dutch Ministry of Finance where he was responsible for tax treaty negotiations and application as well as for drafting direct tax legislation. From 2006 to 2009, he was the Key Expert Taxation in the European Technical Assistance Programme for Vietnam (ETV2). Furthermore, he is a permanent contributor on international tax matters for a leading weekly tax magazine in the Netherlands and is a regular speaker at tax conferences.
